YEAH!!!!!!!!

A couple of weeks ago I recived an e-mail from Ready Set Create

with the announcement that they wanting to use one of my layout's.

I just couldn't believe it, so I didnt told anyone about it besides my family.

So today again an e-mail, this time with the Ready Set Create feb/march issue attached to it and guess what.................I am published!!!!!

My layout is there for everyone to see, how cool is that!!!!!

I was so honored and I'm so proud!!

Love this one, this is how it works:


1. Go to the section of your computer where you store all of your photos.
2. Select the 6th folder.
3. Select the 6th photo from that folder.
4. Post and explain about that picture.

They were watching Winni the Pooh in bed a day after my oldest one broke her arm.
She was having a lot of pain but still gave me a wonderful smile and wanted to have her little sister with her in her bed!

A little tutorial with a RAK!!

A little while ago I was going trough some video's at YouTube and came across a simple and fast way to put a mini together and I just want to share it with you.

Since I can't find the specific video anymore so I can't give proper credits, so if anyone recognize it please let me know.

And since i don't have a link to share with you, I've made some pictures while I was making that instand mini!

Well about that RAK, if you make the mini please link it up in a comment post to make a change winning it!

So here we go:

* All you need is one piece of 12x12 (patterned) paper.

Lay it on your desk with the pattern face down.

* Fold it in half and open it up again and again place it with the pattern face down.

* Fold it again, the other way around.

* Keep it folded like that and fold it in half again.

* Open it up one (1) time and keep the crease on your right.

There's a crease in the middle too, cut that crease from the right to the middle.

* Open it all up and fold it again like you can see on the pic below.

* Take both ends and push them together like you can see on the pic below

* Than fold it so you'll get a book, like this:

When you fold the mini like this you will have some pages that are open on the sides, I've used some double sided tape to close them up and left the spaces on the upper side open to put some tags for journaling in it:

Monday!!

Next monday I will start a personal challenge.
I want to lose some weight.
I'm not all that heavy and dont have a lot off over weight, but I just don't feel all that healthy, so I've decided to turn that all around and going to start with a healthier life style.

Over here in the Netherlands we have a person who became famous with her books for weight loss and have better habbits for eating (do I make any sence in English LOL)
Today in the mail I've received one of her books that I've orderd and I want to start on monday, because her program starts on a monday!

I can't waith to start, I feel so motivated!!!

Yesterday I've had a total scrapping blackout.

Didn't know where that came from.

Today it's all over so I'm happy scrapping again.

Made a LO for the Noel Mignon Challenge Blog!

Loved this challenge, it's all about the goals you've set for 2009!!

I had so much fun doing this one.

The journaling on this Lo say's:

Another store closing

It's not going well with the Dutch scrapbook stores.

Another one is closing, one of my favorites.

The only Dutch store that sells the SIStv Life & Style collections.

So that's a bummer, cause I was planning to order those every once in a while when my scrapping budget was allowing it.

Did some scrapping today, I received the second album from the Lotus Paperie CJ.

Made the this two pages for the album.

I've had to scrap about I place were I want to go back to.

For me that's 'Duinrell' a family vacation park at Wassenaar.

There we spend our very first vacation as a family together, Chelsey was 1 year old and I was 2 months pregnant of Brooklynn.

I want to go back there now we are with the four of us, after that vacation we didn't had a vacation anymore.

I'm very happy with how it turned out! So now that's ready to send!

Today the next album for the Lotus Paperie CJ came in, so I can make a start with that one too tonight!! The album looks great so far.

Tonight I really feel like scrapping so your going to see a lot more this comming day's!

Not so happy monday!!

After this great weekend I'm now not feeling well!!

I'm in bed as we speek, with my labtop catching up on some stuff.

I know I'm an internet addict, have to keep updated about all scrappy stuff that's happening!!

Past saturday it was my my oldest her 3th birtday!!

She had a wonderfull day and was spoild, you can't imagine!

She looooved her non-alcohol kids champagne, well I guess she loved it that she was alloud to drink it from a wineglass :):):)

Yesterday we went outside to play with the snow that was still here.

Today the snow is slowly melting away.

The girls are all sad about it, they loved the snow to play in.

Yesterday after diner I wasn't feeling well and a few hours later I was at the doctors and they gave me some painkillers.

Today I went to see my own doctor and she gave me some other's and now I'll have to waith to see if they work.

So now I'm in bed hoping the pain will go away soon......I hate monday!!!

Red Oak Lines

Do I have some awesome news!!
By now you all know I have a forum up and running, Scrappy Times.
From now on we are going to work together with Red Oak Lines, an Etsy store with some real cute stuff!!
Red Oak Lines will be the sponsor of our february challenge and also is going to give our DT some goodies to work with!!
I can tell you how happy I am with this!!

Today we went to Ikea and bought a new sofa!!!!
Tomorrow we are going to pick it up, can't waith!
Ikea is great, I love to walk around there to get inspired by all the pretty stuff they have!!

We're also very busy with planning our wedding.
I never tought it would be this stressfull.
Because we want a non traditional wedding it's hard to pick a date, it all depent on several factors of the location and when it is available.
Everytime we think we have finally have a date that we like, we can not have it because it's booked allready.
Maybe we have to find some place else, even if it's our second choise.
Well we see, I;m hoping we will have a final date set soon!!!

Fun in the snow!!!

The last couple of day's we have had a lot of fun in the snow.

The girls just love it!!

My parent bought a sleigh for them and they loooooove it, especially Brooklynn.

This afternoon we had so much fun, sleighing and making a snowman!

This week I also made some cards.

Tried some embossing, just got a heattool, so it's all new to me!!

Think it's a great technique and it's awesome to do.

Gives the cards just that little extra!

It's allmost Chelsey's birthday, her 3th!!

She's so excited and she just can not waith untill it's saturday!!

We bougth her a camera, one that's designed for kids to use.

She love's to take pic's with my camera, but that doesn't work all that well.

I can't waith to see her face when she gets her camera!!

Happy New Year!!!

Hope you have had a wonderful night!!!

Our night was just great, we spend it with Jeremy's family and all we did was eat and relax, wonderfull!!
We woke the kids up to watch the fireworks and they loved it!!
Chelsey didn't wanted to go outside, but from out the window she watched the fireworks and she was all amazed!!
Today we also went to my parents and that was great too.

After dinner we came home and the kids went to bed early.
So I finally had time to make some announcements on the Scrappy Times forum and blog.
